I think you missed a key 😅

The ~ symbol is how you prefix a feed in piefed. Just like you use an @ for users and a ! for communities.

Sadly it seems voyager doesn’t support that yet

It just prompts me to send an email 🤔

Works on my side in the web UI, which one are you using?

Voyager, Blorp and Photon

Why has Lemmy had such problems with this and piefed, the new kid on the block, just makes it work? I’ve been subscribed to the linux experiment since I joined and it simply doesn’t work. The last video I see here is from 2 years ago.

Because PieFed actually added support for it

Lemmy supports federation with Peertube since a long time.

https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/pull/2244

Never worked for me!

Did you open a bug report?

No. I don’t have a Microsoft account.

Then how do you expect the problem to get fixed? Do you think I’m a mind reader?

I think he has two channels and maintains only one or something like that. Try to follow this one: https://tilvids.com/video-channels/thelinuxexperiment_channel and hopefully that works better!

I follow the linux experiment on Lemmy and it shows up fine too!

There is also Veronica Explains. One more reason to get off Lemmy and onto PieFed.

The Linux Experiment showed content, but Coffeezilla and Louis Rossman show empty for some reason.

It looks like you are on Lemmy so I’m surprised they showed at all. It may take some time for them to be indexed if you’re the first person to subscribe to them on your server.

Update: 8 hours later, no change.

Update: Yep, still nothing.

I’ll check again after 24 hours to see if Lemmy does anything.

Yeah it’s like I said, I don’t think it works with Lemmy.

Seems like fetching the post listing from Peertube is broken, but you can fetch individual videos by url. Also if you follow a Peertube channel new videos will automatically be federated and show in your feed. If you encounter such problems please open an issue, we cant fix bugs that we are unaware of.
