Sometimes federation problems can be solved if the post is edited after it is posted. However, this post has been edited but it still did not federate. So I thought it was worth asking about.
The post author is banned from piefed.social. I can’t remember the exact reason but if you look at their modlog entries you’ll see they have a long history of being a pain in the ass: https://lemmy.world/modlog?page=1&actionType=All&userId=722715
Oh… very interesting, I didn’t think to check that. Sorry about that, I thought it might have been a bug.
It could have been! There are many many reasons why a post would not appear and any one of them could be broken.
It would be interesting to log rejected content somewhere, with the reason, then people could answer that kind of question themselves.
